Waste Not

A glass bottle takes 1 million years to decompose and a plastic water bottle takes 500 years to decompose (Science Learning Hub, n.d.); for this reason, these items should not be considered biodegradable. Yet every day, people choose to put plastic and glass items in a trash can. Our landfills are filling up with glass, plastic, and other items when we could choose to recycle them, reuse them, or never obtain them in the first place. This blog is dedicated to helping concerned individuals find creative solutions to HALVE THE LANDFILLS.
